Halifax Paramedics Donate Gifts to Northwood Residents for Christmas

Extended Care Paramedics are trained to support frail, vulnerable and marginalized patients in their times of need.  The reality for many who live in long term care facilities is that they no longer have family or visitors over the holidays.  Perhaps their loved ones are far away, or perhaps they have passed away.  Whatever the reason, the Extended Care Paramedics team started a holiday stocking initiative so more of these patients could have a nice gift delivered to them where they live.
